KULTURE is the educational wing of Prophetic Cutz Inc. — a training space created for barbers who have been overlooked, undertaught, and underrepresented in professional grooming education.

For too long, the standard curriculum left out the textures, the techniques, and the cultural intelligence required to truly serve Black and diverse communities. KULTURE was built to close that gap.

We don't just teach how to cut hair. We teach barbers how to carry themselves — in the chair, behind the chair, and beyond it.

As co-founder of Prophetic Cutz, he built something rare: a shop that actually reflects the community it serves. In the KULTURE room, he brings that same intention to every session. Meek doesn't just teach technique. He teaches presence. How to carry yourself. How to read a room before you ever pick up a clipper. How to make every person in your chair feel like the only person that matters. He is the reason this programme exists, and he shows up for every cohort like it's the only one.

None required for the 1-Day Intensive. It is designed to meet you where you are — whether you've never held a clipper or you've been cutting for years. The KULTURE Series moves progressively and builds on itself, so it works for beginners and experienced barbers alike. What matters is that you're serious. That's the only prerequisite.
Before your session, you'll receive the KULTURE Tool List — a curated guide to exactly what you need to source before day one. We tell you the specific tools, brands, and why. Your kit is yours to keep. If you're not ready to invest in tools yet, reach out — we can help you figure out the best path forward.
Yes. We believe cost should not be the reason someone walks away from an opportunity like this. Payment plans are available for both programmes — reach out when you submit your intake form and we'll find something that works. A non-refundable 50% deposit secures your seat, with the balance arranged before your session begins.
The 1-Day Intensive is a single, full-immersion session — intense, hands-on, and designed to give you a real leap forward in one day. It's a strong starting point and a complete experience on its own. The KULTURE Series is the full journey — four sessions over eight weeks, with progressive curriculum that builds from fundamentals through precision to mastery. You get live models every session, a mid-series assessment, a private coaching call, and 90-day replay access. If you're serious about this as a craft and a career, the Series is the move.
We understand life happens. Series apprentices receive 90-day session replay access, so you can revisit any session in full. If you miss a live session, connect with your instructor — we'll do our best to make sure you don't fall behind. That said, the live sessions are where the real work happens. Show up.
All sessions take place at Prophetic Cutz Inc., 1900 Merivale Road, Unit 108, Ottawa, ON. On-site delivery is also available for schools and organizations within Ottawa–Gatineau for a flat $250 fee.
Cohorts are intentionally small. The 1-Day Intensive holds a maximum of 8 apprentices. The KULTURE Series holds a maximum of 6. This is not a classroom — it's a room where every person gets real attention and real feedback. Small is the point.
KULTURE issues its own Certificate of Completion (1-Day) and Signed Certificate of Excellence (Series). Schools participating in the Placement Track can apply sessions toward co-op and experiential credit. If you have questions about how this applies to your specific licensing or programme requirements, contact us directly — we'll be straight with you.
We review every submission personally. You'll hear from us within 1–2 business days to confirm your cohort date and next steps. From there, a 50% deposit secures your seat. Once you're confirmed, you'll receive your welcome package, Tool List, and everything you need before day one. No spam. No runaround. Just a straight line to the chair.
